Boy Yñiguez is a cinematographer who has photographed films like (to name a few); Kubrador (2006), Imbisibol (2015), Bisperas (2011), Tragic Theater (2015), Tuhog (2001) and the soon-to-be-released Ang Larawan (2015).These films have also won awards in cinematography from Gawad Urian, Cinefilipino Film Festival, Sinag Maynila Film Festival, Young Critics Circle and Cinemalaya.
Aside from his works in the film and advertising industry he has also written books which traverse into narratives and photography of the rituals in the Sagada mountains (Pleasing the Spirits and Sagada Cañao for Boy) to a black and white view of South Africa.
Since 2006 he has also taken to shooting a photo a day, on his gallery at www.pbase.com/boyyniguez we find a curious look into a cinematographers view of life compiled in almost a decade of captured stills.
