Looking at this set reminded me of the fish markets of Tsukiji, how at daybreak the finest fish would be lain there for all to see prepared for the crowds coming to partake of the sea’s bounty. Raw and honest, that was all there was to it. No pretensions or distractions.
It was for all means and purposes a journey that cared not for the destination but only for the road itself, each photo leading up to who knows where. Going through the selection took to me to a place that I hadn’t been to for a while, that limbo of falling in love, not quite there but on it’s way. Picking out the photos for the story was almost impossible, after all how could you curate love?
